摘 要: 促进教师的专业发展被认为是确保学生和学校可持续发展的重要手段之一,美国社区学院在促进教师专业发展的过程中面临着许多挑战和问题,同时也一直在寻求解决问题的策略。帕洛玛社区学院作为美国社区学院的一个代表,在促进教师专业发展做了非常有益的探索,尤其在建构教师专业发展方面的内部运行机制如机构建设、整体目标、发展内容、制度约束、成效评估等方面给我国高等职业教育教师专业发展带来许多可借鉴的启示。 Promoting the faculty professional development is regarded to be one of the important strategies for both students and colleges in their sustainable development, The faculty professional development in community colleges in USA. also faces a lot of challenges and problems and some strategies are adopted in solving them. A case of Palomar College Professional Development was provided and studied via introducing the aspects like organization construction, educational goals, contents of development, PD contracts, evaluation and other services support. After some analyses, some conclusions are drawn from the experiences in USA.. Recommendations were also proposed on how to improve the educational level of vocational colleges in China.
