摘　　要： 采用文献综述的方法,从形象学的跨学科性以及形象学与东方主义、翻译学的交叉融合这三方面探析当前西方形象学的研究动态与最新发展趋势。文章指出,当前的形象学研究应该抓住"形象"的话语本质、"形象"的建构性与互文性,与东方主义、翻译学、民族主义、国际关系学等相关学科进行更广泛深入的对话,才能真正成为一种开放性研究。 This paper explores recent developments in Western Imagology by means of literature review. The interdisciplinarity of Imagology, the combination of Imagology with Orientalism and translation studies are discussed in detail. The paper concludes that if image studies wants to evolve into a real open study it has to pay more attention to the discourse nature, the constructedness and intertextuality of the ＂image＂, and draws more strength from such related disciplines as Orientalism, translation studies, nationalism and international relation studies.
