摘　　要： 根据体裁及体裁分析的相关研究理论,探讨了《人民日报》元旦社论的交际功能和交际目的,进而归纳出该体裁的宏观语步结构并加以验证。本研究结果不仅成功地证明元旦社论是一系列交际目的实现的产物,而且证明体裁分析方法用于阐释交际事件具有相当的可行性。 Within the framework of genre theory communicative purposes of the New Year＇s Day Editorial, and genre analysis, the present study first examines the functions and the Then it works towards an identification and Verification of the generic structure as Well as the distinctive features of the New Year＇s Day Editorial. The findings of this study justify that the New Year＇s Day Editorial is the realization of a set of communicative purposes. The study also proves that genre analysis is a viable approach to interpret communicative events.
