摘　　要： 英国罗素集团作为世界一流大学的联盟,代表了英国高等教育领先的国际地位和国际竞争力。取得充足科研资金是该联盟成立首要动因和主要目标,而集团形成的一流大学形象也为成员赢得了持续的投资和巨大的社会经济效益。本文通过探析其成立的主要动因、主要特点和成效,分析其中杰出科研合作案例,为一流大学联盟的组建提供借鉴意义和思考。 Russell Group, a world-class university alliance, represents the reputation and international competitiveness of UK higher education. The motivation and the main goal of the group is to obtain sufficient research funds. Its good image of first-class unvecities formed by the group has also ensured the winning of continuous investment and huge economics benefit to society. This article has analyzed the motivation, purpose, main charateristics and its effect of the group and some outstanding case in their reasreach cooperation in order to privede a constructive reference for the establishment of first-rate university alliance.
