摘　　要： 本文主要从种族、宗教文化这一角度来剖析夏洛克这一艺术形象，探讨这一形象所蕴 含的宗教意义：第一，夏洛克是一个有着强烈民族意识与宗教信仰的犹太教徒，倍受基督徒的歧视、 虐待与迫害，并且积极进行反抗、复仇，最后失败，成为种族、宗教文化冲突下的悲剧人物。第二，夏 洛克形象折射出莎士比亚的宗教观。 This essay puts emphasis on Charlok, a typical character in 'venis Merchant', chiefly on the point of race and religion, it profourdly probes the religious meaning which concerns: 1.
