摘　　要： 产业结构在整个经济结构中居于主导地位，其变动对经济增长有着决定性的作用，产业结构的调整是经济发展的永恒主题。改革开放二十多年来，郴州产业结构发生了巨大的变化，在发展中趋于合理。但产业素质不高，升级缓慢，结构性矛盾仍然突出。“十五”期间，必须以市场为导向，以科技进步的动力，加速郴州产业结构的全面调整和优化升级。 As industrial structure occupies a leading position in the whole economic structure, its al- teration plays a decisive role in economic increase and its adjustment is an eternal theme of ecomomic develop- ment. In the past twenty years or so since the reform began and the country opened to the outside world, Chenzhou's industrial structure has undergone tremendous changes and become mere rational in the course of development. But as the quality of industry is not high and the upgrading is slow, structural contradictions become prominent. In the period of 'The Tenth Five - year plan', Chenzhou's industry must be market-orient- ed, scientific - and - technological - advance - powered and upgrading - centered so as to speed up the all- round adjustment, rationalization and upgrading of its structure.
