摘　　要： 通过分析张鑫友主编《新编英语教程.学习指南》中《生活对我意味着什么》一文译文在词汇层面和句法层面上出现的大量错误,可以看出该教材的严重不足,这须引起该教材使用者的高度关注。 This paper points out the numerous mistakes in the Chinese version of Jack London＇s What Life Means To Me translated by Prof. Zhang Xinyou. The translation which is contained in a guidebook for advanced English learners reflects the shontcomings of the book. That should be paid more attention by the users.
