摘　　要： 本文以丰富而翔实的具体资料为依据，对二战前后马来亚华文学校的数量、规模、校舍，以及学生人数、年龄层次、男女比例、思想品德基础等方面作了详尽的实证比较，从而论述了战后马来亚华文教育的恢复与重建所面临的困难，以及马来亚广大华侨华人为保存华文教育所作出的牺牲和不懈的努力，揭示了日本侵略者对东南亚各国人民，尤其是华文教育所带来的深重戕害。 Based on full and detailed data, this paper makes a comparative study of the number and scale of Chinese schools in Malaysia before and after WWⅡ, the number and age group and sex ratio of the students enrolled, and the conduct and 1earning of the students. The paper then goes on to discuss the dilemma facing the restoration and reconstruction of Chinese schooling in Malaysia after WWⅡ, and the unswerving struggle and sacrfice from the broad masses of overseas Chinese in Malaysia in an effort to conserve Chinese education there. Also, the paper discloses the serious harm done to the peoples of Southeast Asia and especially to the Chinese education there by Japanese invasion during WWⅡ.
