摘　　要： 平话人是广西一支重要的汉族民系,大致形成于唐宋时期。长期以来,因其在当地政治、经济、文化等方面处于相对强势的地位,广西临江镇的平话人常以"名门之后"自居,族群意识较强。1949年以后实行的民族政策,对临江镇平话人的族群意识产生了重要影响。本文试图透过对临江镇平话人社会生活所进行的田野调查,探讨当地人族群意识变迁的社会文化原因。 The Pinghua people is an important ethnic group of Huan, which waserected Up in Tang or Song dynasty, mainly live in Guangxi autonomous region. Depended Ontheir relative predominance in local polity, economyandculture, thePinghuapeopleinLinjiangtownthought of themselvesaSthe offspring of gentlefolk, theirethnic consciousnesswashard.After 1949, the Chinese government put a series oflaws into practice to give specialtreatment to minorities, this policies impacted the Pinghua people＇ s ethnicconsciousnessheavily. BasedOnthefieldworkinLinjiangtown, thispaperhas describedthe change of local people＇ s ethnic consciousness since 1949, andthendiscussed itSsocialandculturalreasons.
