摘 要: 我国翻译人才培养的历史最早可追溯至宋朝译经院。至明清时期,翻译人才考核制度已初具雏形。回顾宋元明清时期翻译人才培养,梳理其翻译人才选拔要求、考试内容与形式、翻译教师选聘与考核、翻译取士制度等方面的实践经验,对当今语言与翻译人才培养与考评的启示是:1)翻译人才培养与评价体系应立足国家与现实需求;2)翻译考试内容应多元化和专业化;3)翻译教学应完善过程性与终结性考核体系;4)翻译师资考核评价机制应进一步优化。 China’s history of training translators and interpreters can trace back to the Buddhist Scriptures translation centers in the Song Dynasty.During the Ming and Qing Dynasties,systems for selecting and evaluating translators and interpreters had begun to take shape.This paper reviews the translator and interpreter training history during the Song,Yuan,Ming,and Qing Dynasties.Looking into the evolution of candidate selection policies,translation test content and form,translation teachers’employment and evaluation and the imperial translation examination system,this paper intends to provide an essential reference for today’s translator and interpreter training,assessment and evaluation.Efforts should be made in four dimensions.First,the translator and interpreter training and evaluation system should focus on national and practical needs.Second,test content for selecting and evaluating translators and interpreters should be more professional and diverse.Third,a formative and summative assessment system should be established and improved in translation and interpreting teaching.Lastly,the evaluation mechanism for translation teaching faculty needs further optimization.
