摘　　要： 贝利撒留被后人誉为拜占庭帝国第一名将,曾在对萨珊波斯的边境战争、"西部再征服"以及维护查士丁尼帝国统治的稳定等方面发挥过重要作用。学术界对于贝利撒留的研究多集中于军事史层面,而对于他何以能参与进查士丁尼帝国战略的原因却着墨不多。结合6世纪拜占庭大的社会历史环境,可知贝利撒留入仕的原因与当时的社会环境密不可分,帝国新的政治气象和军事防御的需要,以及贝利撒留自身出色的才干和他与皇室密切的私交等等因素,是他成为查士丁尼最为倚重的军事将领的根本原因。 Belisarius, who played a vital role in the battle against Sassanid Empire, in the war of western-conquering as well as in the maintenance of political stability during the reign of Justinian,was considered to be the No. 1 general in Byzantine history. The academic research about Belisarius has always been focused on his military conquest, rarely mentioning the reasons for him to become an important part of Justini an＇s strategy, which were inseparable from the social environment of the Byzantine Empire in the 6th century, talents and his close contacts with the royal family were the fundamental elements making him Justinian＇s most trustful general.
