摘　　要： 工业文明繁荣的背后蕴藏着环境、生态危机,全球化带来新的中西文化的碰撞与整合,科学与人生观需要协调,在这种历史背景下,中国学人对"天人合一"问题展开了大规模的讨论。他们争论"天人合一"能否作为中国传统文化的根本特征,并在争论中逐渐深化了对"天人合一"的历史蕴涵的理解。他们的讨论并非无的放矢,而表现为对现实的环境问题、生态问题与可持续发展问题的深切关怀,是中西文化之争在当代的延续,是科学与玄学论争在当代的重显。 The prosperity of the industrialization contains the environmental and ecological crisis. The globalization promotes the cultural intercourse between China and the West. And the harmonization between science and philosophy is necessary.In this historical background, the Chinese scholars have discussed the problem of the harmonization between the sky and the human beings. Their discussion is very important. First, it embodies that the scholars are concerned about the environmental, ecological problem and sustainable development. Second,it is the continuation of the cultural dispute between China and the West. And the last, it is the recurring of the dispute between science and philosophy.
