摘　　要： 本文以叙事理论为基础,通过对比47篇新闻的中英文版本,探讨中新网英文版对斯诺登事件报道的翻译。研究发现,译者在翻译新闻时运用了不同的建构策略,对相关的新闻报道进行了叙事重构,甚至调整了新闻叙事立场。文章认为,新闻叙事重构的成因可能包括不同的目的语读者、中美政治关系以及新闻机构的政治立场等。 Taking narrative theory as the theoretical basis,this paper discusses reframing strategies in news translation on the Edward Snowden incident. It compares 47 pairs of Chinese and English news reports and their translations by the Chinese News Services( ECNS) on the incident. The research result shows that various reframing strategies are adopted in reframing the narratives in the news event and in mediating the narrative stances. The paper argues that possible constraining factors in reframing the news include the target readerships,the Sino-U. S. bilateral relationship and the political position of the news agencies.
