摘　　要： 电子词典主要分为掌上词典、个人电脑词典和在线词典.我国的电子词典自上个世纪80年代末诞生以来得到了迅速发展并且显示出强大的生命力.掌上词典的主要用户是大中学生.以金山词霸为代表的个人电脑词典是目前市场上的主流,而在线词典则形成了发展的方向.电子词典已经成为学生学习和英语教师备课的得力助手. E-dictionary refers to palm e-dictionary, personal computer dictionary and on-line dictionary. Born in the middle of the 1980s, the e-dictionaries in China have shown their powerful functions to the users. The students in high schools and colleges mainly use the palm e-dictionaries. The PC dictionaries, for instance, the Kingsoft Powenvord, are dominant on the current market, while the on-line dictionaries represent the future development. Now, the e-dictionaries have become the handy teaching-aids for students to learn English language and English teachers to prepare their teaching notes.
