摘　　要： 本文对小国概念和小国外交的基本特征进行梳理,在小国视域下探讨东帝汶与中国关系发展特点与现状。从2002年与中国建交以来,东帝汶对中国外交以政治互信和双边务实外交为主要路径,在发展区域多边外交关系的同时,积极参与国际或区域组织。东帝汶充分发挥中葡论坛作用、积极响应“一带一路”倡议,在各领域拓展与中国关系,通过构建互惠合作和全面合作伙伴关系,吸引中国对东帝汶投资与援助,促进本国经济社会发展与复苏。 Timor-Leste is a member of the Belt and Road Initiative(BRI)and the youngest country which restored its independence in 21st century.A few researches have been done on the foreign policy between China and Timor-Leste.This paper aims to elaborate the features of small states and probe into the relations with China under small states'framework.Since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 2002,both of Timor-Leste and China have built up with mutual understanding and bilateral practical cooperation in many layers.With reference to regional or international organizations,Timor-Leste has been actively participating in BRI and Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation Between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries(Forum Macao)with the purpose to attract investments and aids from China,which may alleviate its domestic poverty and improve its social development and economic recovery.
