摘　　要： In the process of college English intensive reading teaching,the analysis of textual cohesion and coherence is of great significance in that it can help students better understand the structure and contents of the teaching materials,improve their ability in commanding and applying the language,thus improving the quality of college English teaching.This paper tries to analyze how to apply the theory of textual cohesion and coherence to the teaching of college English intensive reading.
