摘　　要： 历史上印度文明对中国文明的影响通过佛教而实现,佛教又通过翻译而传入中国并中国化,佛经翻译的重要性不言而喻。然而翻译在佛教传入中国中究竟发生了何种影响,这些影响又是如何发生的,却并非不言自明,而无论佛教教理在翻译过程中做出了何种适应中土价值的变通,佛理佛经在中国化过程中有过何种适应中土具体情况的传播方式和翻译机制,佛经翻译对中国文明的成长都作出了极其重要的贡献。 The influence of Indian civilization on Chinese civilization was realized through Buddhism,and Buddhism was introduced into China and sinicized by means of translation.Thus the significance of translations of Buddhist scriptures is self-evident.However,it is not self-evident what role translation played in the introduction of Buddhism into China,and how these influences occurred.No matter how Buddhist doctrines were adapted to the value of Central Plains,and what means of transmission and mechanism of translation were adopted for the doctrines and scriptures to be compatible with the concrete conditions of Central Plains,translations of Buddhist scriptures made important contributions to the growth of Chinese civilization.
