摘　　要： 工人文化的一个重要作用就是为工人自身主张价值与尊严。以往的国外研究表明,男性气质是体力劳动者主张自身价值和尊严的重要途径,国内过去尚未有这个角度的研究。通过在北京市Q村进行的相关调查,笔者考察了目前我国新生代农民工的男性气质问题。笔者的研究表明,工友们的男性气质是压抑的,和世界其他地区不同,他们的男性气质没有成为他们价值和尊严的来源与依托。这种状况对工友们进一步争取自身的权益、价值和尊严十分不利。 Working class culture usually claims the dignity of the workers themselves. Previous studies of the foreigners conclude that masculinity is an important constituent of working class dignity. This paper, based on the survey conducted in Village Q, Beijing, analyzes the cultural situation of Chinese peasant workers in terms of masculinity. The author argues that the masculinity of peasant workers in Village Q consists in its being self-repressive. This situation is a setback to Chinese peasant workers＂ further struggles for their interests, values and dignities.
