摘　　要： 对《何西阿书》11:4的文本诠释关涉到一个争论:上帝到底是以"母亲拥抱婴儿紧贴在面颊上",还是以"牧人将轭置于牛脸上"的形象出现的?上帝到底能不能以女性形象出现?笔者通过跨文本诠释,指出佛教传统中"菩萨男转女身"和"双身佛"的意象可以为回答这一问题投下亮光. Hosea 11:4 has provoked academic debate over the question of whether God appears as a mother embracing a baby to her cheek,or as a shepherd yoking a cow’s head.Can God appear as a female?Through a cross-textual reading the author points out the significance of the Bodhisattva Guanyin’s male body changing into a female body in Chinese tradition,as well as the significance of the“Dualbodied Buddha”(Ganapati)in Buddhist tradition,which can shed light on this issue.
