摘　　要： 华侨与原乡居民之间的文化交流,使近代澄海的体育活动颇具侨乡特色,无论传统体育项目还是现代体育项目都得到蓬勃发展,这是华侨支持、政府部门重视及侨乡学校推动的结果。侨乡体育文化的探析,对于近代体育史、区域文化及华侨华人历史的研究都有重要启示作用。 Cultural exchanges between overseas Chinese and the residents of their original hometowns characterized the modern sports activities in Chenghai County. Both traditional sports and modern sports flourished due to the support of overseas Chinese,promotion by the government departments and the active roles of the local schools. An exploration and analysis of the sports and culture in the qiaopxiang areas is of important implications for the study of the modern sports history,regional culture and history of overseas Chinese.
