摘　　要： 本文搜集汇总了近代中国1910—1936年的银行资本额,用数量分析方法证实了近代中国银行总资本额是影响货币量M1的主要因素。同时,也证实了银行资本规模是市场中货币需求的客观要求。本文采用货币化程度的国际比较方法考察了这一时段内近代中国银行业规模适当与否,近代中国与同时代的日本、美国和英国的货币化比率比较结果说明,近代中国银行业的规模尚嫌不足,远不是"畸形发展"。 This paper analyses the data of bank capital of China from 1910 to 1936,and finds that the amount of bank capital are the main factor impacting money supply M1.It also confirms that the scale of the bank capital market is endogenously determined by the demand for money.This paper makes a comparative study about the appropriate scale among China,Japan,USA and the UK,and concludes that modern Chinese banking sector are not well fertilized but still far from ' abnormal development'
