摘　　要： 郭嵩焘出使英法期间对西方社会经济进行了深入的观察与思考 ,其经济思想因此有了新的发展 ,表现出鲜明的资本主义经济思想特征 ,他要求转变传统的封建经济政策 ,鼓励私人投资 ,推进民族资本主义的发展 ,实现封建农业经济向近代资本主义经济转变 ,并把发展资本主义经济作为立国之本。 When GuoSongtao served as an envoy in England and France,he deeply surveyed and reflected western social economy,so his economic ideas had some new development which was distinctly characterized by bourgeois economic ideas.He asked to encourage private investment,to promote national capitalist,to transform feudal agriculture economy into modern capitalist economy.He thought that the development of capitalist economy was the base on which to build up the nation.
