摘　　要： 由于特殊的历史现实,从世纪初严复提出"鼓民力、开民智、新民德"这一命题起,国民性改造就成为时代主题之一而受到20世纪中国思想家们的极大关注。文章从思想基础、对现状的认识、改造途径等诸方面来比较梁启超与晏阳初的新民观所表现出的异质性,力图找到二者发展的不同基础奠定,从而探索出后来二者"异路"的溯源所在。 At the beginning of 20^th century, Yan fu proposed the premise：＂ strengthening people＇ s power, enlightening people＇ s intelligence, and innovating people＇ s morality＂ because of special historical reality. The reform of the nature of people has been one of the time topic concerned by Chinese thinkers in the 20^th century. It is compared in this paper Liang Qichao and Yangehu＇ s different ideas on new people from the aspects of their thinking roots, understandings of the current status, and the way of reform to work out the original root for their difference.
