摘　　要： "黄金时代"美国高等教育发展迅速,并逐步形成了完善的高等教育体系。社区学院由于其灵活性和职能的优势顺应了这种需求,并为更大的群体提供了受教育机会。黄金时代的社区学院职能优势所带来的发展更多地承载着一种推进教育民主化实现,促进教育公平的责任,这对于我国民办高校的发展改革具有积极的借鉴意义。 In the golden age,American higher education developed rapidly and formed a perfect higher education system.The community college was adapted to the requirement that educational opportunities be provided to more people.The development of the advantages and functions of community colleges brings the realization that democratization of education promotes educational equity,which is useful to performing reformation of the private college in china.
