摘　　要： 在高等教育大众化阶段,不同的高校要分类发展。培养应用型人才、为地方经济建设服务是地方高校应该确立的办学理念。区域经济社会发展是地方高校生存和发展的基础,地方高校要着力为区域经济和社会发展服务。佛山地方高校专业结构的设置和调整与佛山区域经济社会发展是互动和谐的。 In the age of the popular higher education, different colleges shall develop differently. Fostering applicative talents and serving local economic construction are the essential concepts held among local colleges. Regional economic and social development is the basis for the survival and development of local colleges, and therefore, such colleges shall concentrate their efforts on serving regional economic and social development. Foshan＇ s local colleges shall set up and regulate their specialties to meet the demand for Foshan＇s regional economic and social development.
