摘　　要： 新民主主义社会论的诞生肇始于《新民主主义论》的发表,随着社会主义改造的基本完成而终结。20多年后,随着社会主义初级阶段理论的形成,再次进入人们的视野。这一貌似简单的经历恰恰应对着中国革命、建设和改革三个不同的发展时期,折射着中国共产党对我国现代化发展道路的艰辛探索,印证着党的实事求是思想路线的贯彻情况,展现了中国共产党善于解放思想、实事求是、与时俱进的优良品质。今天,站在新的地平线上,深化对新民主主义社会论命运的研究,对我们正在进行的和谐社会建设无疑具有重要的理论价值和现实意义。 The theory of New Democratic Society emerged with the publication of ＂On New Democracy＂ and ended with the basic completion of socialist transformation. 20 years later, with the formation of theory of socialism in its primary phase, it attracted people＇s attention again. This seemingly simple experience corresponds with the three periods of Chinese revolution, construction and reform. It reflects the CPC＇ s hard exploration of the route towards modernization, proves the CPC＇ s conduction of ideological line of seeking truth from fact and exhibits the CPC＇ s virtue of emancipating the mind and keeping pace with the times. Nowardays it is of great significance to deepen the research into the fate of New Democratic Society.
