摘 要: 随着高等教育的快速发展,许多专家和学者都认识到外语教师的素质与大学英语教学质量的关系,以及高质量师资队伍建设的重要性。新任职教师作为一个可塑性极强的群体,在教学中起着极为重要的作用,他们的成长和专业发展已成为社会、学校和教师个体共同关注的重要课题。本文针对新任职英语教9币在教学中的种种困惑,提出三种指导模式:协作式模式、能力提高模式、反思式模式,以期有助于新教师顺利走上专业自主发展道路。 This paper discusses the necessity to provide mentoring assistance to novice Eng- lish teachers in tertiary education level.It begins by addressing the challenges of nov- ice English teachers and the needs for mentoring in the first year of their teaching.The paper then introduces the three mentoring models,including the collaborative model, competency model,and reflective model.It ends with a discussion of the significance of providing those models to a novice with the purpose to help them in their own ca- reer development.
