摘　　要： 悉尼语法和加的夫语法是系统功能语法的两个分支,其关于语言单位的分类及语言的体现形式的观点也有所不同。语言单位及体现形式的一般规则是:小句体现情形,而名词词组体现事物。本文综合利用这两个分支语法,对古诗英译中的语言单位非一致现象作分析和阐释,从中探讨古诗英译中意象建构与意境传达的一些相关问题。 Sydney Grammar and Cardiff Grammar are two major branches of Systemic Functional Grammar. They hold different views on language units and meaning realization, among which the general principle is that clauses realize situations while nominal groups realize things. This paper aims to analyze the incongruent phenomenon about language units in Chinese poetry translation, and discuss some questions related to constructing the original images and conveying meanings in translation.
