摘　　要： 芥川龙之介是日本大正文坛的代表作家之一。他是一位典型的都市型、知识型的作家 ,是在书房中体验人生的。芥川龙之介的短篇历史小说 ,构思精巧 ,文笔凝练 ,多取材于日本或中国的古典文学作品 ,以现代文学的形式将“现实”置于历史背景之中 ,诠释现实 ,解释人生 ,探索永恒的人性。本文所要分析的《树丛之中》是芥川系列历史背景小说中比较靠后的一篇 ,它取材于十二世纪前半叶在日本编撰的古代传说故事集《今昔物语集》 ,在形式上借鉴了英国诗人罗伯特·布朗宁的长诗《戒指与书》和美国作家庇亚斯的短篇小说《月光下的小路》①作者对“真实”的质疑是贯穿全篇的主题。本文在使用文本分析的方法解读这篇作品的基础上 ,尝试从现代接受美学的角度探索作品中虚构与真实之间的奥秘。 Akutagawa Ryunosuke is one of the representative writers in the Daishou age of Japan.He is a typical urban,intellectual writer,who shut himself in the study to observe and learn from life.Akutagawa's short historical stories are based on the materials drawn from the classics of Japan or China,with ingeniously conceived plots and a concise style.In the mode of modern literature,his stories put the “reality”into the historical background,trying to interpret the real life,and probe into human nature.In the Grove is one of his later historical stories,with its material drawn from konzyaku stories, a Japanese classic edited in the first half of the 12th century,and its form lesrned from Robert Browning's The Ring and the Book,and Ambrose Bierce's The Road Under the Moonlight,The theme of this story is about an inquiry into the reality.The author of this article resorts to a textual analytical way to expound the story,with the aim of revealing the mystery between the fictitious account and the truthfulness.
