摘　　要： 随着人口老龄化加剧、家庭规模小型化及女性就业率提高,儿童和老人的照顾问题已成为超越家庭范畴的社会政策议题。面对因照顾负担加大和照顾资源短缺而形成的"照顾赤字",亟需对照顾问题进行深入和系统的思考。本文首先介绍西方照顾研究的发展历程及照顾政策的国别差异,再以照顾的性质、形式、照顾者与被照顾者的关系、照顾的社会效果为主题梳理关于照顾的学术争论,最后探讨照顾研究对中国社会福利制度设计的启示。 Rapid population ageing, rising female labour market participation rate and smaller family sizes have made care for children and the elderly an important social policy issue in China. Facing the ever serious care deficit caused by the overloaded care burden and shrinking care resources, unlike their counterparts in the west, neither the government and the academia in China has made enough preparation. While the government has failed to provide enough policy intervention in reducing care burden of families, care has received scant attention in Chinese scholarship. In other words, there is a lack of exploring care theoretically and practically in China. In this paper, the history of care study in the western welfare states is first briefed.Then key academic debates on（social） care study is reviewed systemically. Finally, the implications for the transformation of China＇s social welfare system will be discussed.
