摘　　要： 素质教育思想的提出,对在理工科大学生中进一步加强人文素质的培养和教育提出了更高的要求。新时期进一步加强人文素质教育是培养创造性人才的需要,是提高全民族文化素质的需要;同时,艺术教育肩负着传承优秀文化,提高学生艺术修养,培养学生人文素质,挖掘学生创新潜能的光荣使命,大力加强艺术教育,是教育改革和时代发展的必然结果。在理工科院校如何加强学生的艺术教育与人文素质培养,需要深入的探讨和研究。 The proposition of the quality＇oriented education thought, has put forward the demand for further strengthening cultivation and education of humane quality in our science and engineering university students. In new period, further strengthening humane quality-oriented education is a need both for training creative talents and improving the cultural dynamics of the whole nation; Meanwhile, art education bears the glorious mission of passing on outstanding culture, improving student＇s artistic accomplishment, excavating student＇ s innovative latent energy. Therefore, strengthening art ed training student＇s humane quality, ucation in a more cost-effective manner is an inevitable outcome of educational reform and development. How to strengthen students＇ art education and the cultivation of humane quality in science and engineering universities needs deep discussion and study.
