摘　　要： 英国桂冠诗人泰德.休斯是一个具有国际意识的艺术家。休斯早期诗歌受美国新批评派影响,60年代又受到超现实主义诗歌影响,其诗作呈现出超现实主义倾向,休斯在中后期开始对道家思想产生浓厚兴趣,他的诗歌因而呈现强烈的道家思想倾向。休斯兼收并蓄,不断丰富自己的诗歌创作,形成了自己诗歌独特的品性。 English Laureate Poet Ted Hughes is an artist with a strong sense of internationalism. This essay is a detailed study on Hughes＇ receptivity of alien influences： Hughes received the New Criticism thoughts in his early poetic career, thus his poetry reveals a surrealist tendency in the 1960s; he began to interest in Taoism in 1970s, hence his middle and later poetry has a strong Taoist leaning. Throughout receiving foreign influences, Hughes enriches his own poetic writing and forges his own unique poetic quality.
