摘　　要： 高校公共英语教学的目的在于有效提高学生的英语知识基础,并注重提高学生的英语口头表达能力和运用英语进行沟通交流的能力,因此高校公共英语的教学不仅仅局限于基础性知识,还需要针对学生的口语表达能力进行强化。性别差异视域下的高校公共英语教学,需要充分尊重男女性格上的差异及其对英语教学的影响,在此基础上制定科学有效的教学策略,为取得良好实践教学效果起到积极作用。 The purpose of Public English teaching in colleges and universities is to effectively improve the students’ English knowledge base, and pay attention to improving the students’ oral expression ability and the ability of using English to communicate. Therefore, the teaching of Public English in colleges and universities is not only limited to the basic knowledge, but also needs to strengthen the students’ oral expression ability. From the perspective of gender differences, College Public English teaching needs to fully respect the differences in the personalities of men and women and their impact on English teaching.On this basis, scientific and effective teaching strategies should be formulated to play a positive role in achieving good practice teaching results.
