摘　　要： 语料分析表明:元话语在微型学术讲座中普遍存在。本文从关联理论的视角对微型学术讲座中的元话语的存在理据进行了阐释。文章同时认为,微型学术讲座是一个以讲座人和听众为交际主体的明示—推理言语交际活动,元话语的存在可以在很大程度上减少听众寻求最佳关联和最大语境效果所付出的努力。 Data suggest that metadiscourse abounds in academic mini-lectures, This paper probes into the motivation for the existence of metadiscourse in academic mini-lectures from the perspective of Relevance Theory. It is also argued that academic mini-lectures are an ostensive-inferential process involving the lecture and the audience as the participants and metadiseourse serves to reduce the processing efforts on the part of the audience in the course of searching for optimal relevance and maximal contextual effects.
