摘　　要： 英语新闻报道常用句子是新闻文体的一部分,具有新闻文体色彩浓、结构简洁精练、内容丰富明确、修辞手段多样、口语化倾向等特点,通过适当使用新闻体语句、扩展的简单句、主从复合句等句式以及多种修辞手段,能有效地帮助构成新闻语篇。 Sentence patterns commonly used in English news reports are stylized with the features of frequently-used journalist expressions, structural conciseness, condensed-content clearness and colloquialism trend. The use of these sentence patterns such as journalistic expressions, expanded simple sentences, simplified complex sentences and other rhetoric means may help form an effective news text. This paper discusses and illustrates these features.
