摘 要: 媒体中女性军人形象的构建与传播对于军队整体形象的构建具有十分重要的影响。本研究结合传播学和语言学的理论和方法,从议题、信源和态度三个方面分析美国国防部网站新闻构建和传播女性军人形象的主要策略及其历时变化。通过上述策略,美国国防部网站新闻成功构建和传播了能力突出、忠于职守、英勇顽强、敢于牺牲的美国女性军人形象。 The construction and communication of the image of women in the military by modem media exerts great influence over the image of the armed forces. By adopting the theories and methods of communication studies and linguistics, this study investigates how the website of the U.S.A. Department of Defense constructs and communicates the image of women in the military and how its strategies have changed over the years by examining the agenda, news sources and attitudes. By applying the above-mentioned strategies, the website of the U.S.A. Department of Defense is able to construct and communicate the image of women in the military as competent, disciplined, courageous, and willing to make sacrifices.
