摘　　要： “同类;伴侣”义的“畴”后主要作“俦”,这种字词关系的变化大致始于东魏、西魏;“种类”义的“畴”未演变成“俦”。段玉裁和朱骏声的说法均不确。当代大型语文辞书的有关义项当据改。 The word“chou(畴)”with the meaning“same kind;companion”basically developed to the character pattern“俦”This kind of character meaning relation's change generally began in the Eastern Wei and Western Wei Dynasty.The word“chou(畴)”with the meaning“category”didn t develop to the shape“俦”The opinions of both Duan Yucai and Zhu Junsheng are not exact.So the items in the contemporary major dictionaries should be corrected according to this situation.
