摘　　要： 晚清史家继承了前代史书编撰的成就 ,并结合晚清的时代思潮 ,做出了新的探索 ,表现在 :对传统史书编撰的继承和改造 ,对通史体例的追求和实践以及对西方传入的章节体的吸收和改造。这三种史书编撰的价值趋向主宰了晚清史坛 。 Historians in late Qing Dynasty inherited the achievements of the previous historical book compilation, connected with the ideas of that time and made new explorations which showed in the following aspects:inheritance and improvement to the traditional historical book compilation;pursuit and practice of the style of general history;absorption and reformation of introduced Western layout of chapters.The tendency dominated the Qing historical circle and explored a rich and varied pattern.
