摘　　要： 阮元在历史地理学思想和方法方面深受中国传统的沿革地理学和清初"经世致用"地理学思想的影响,他对中国古代地理学思想多有承续,对清代地理学名家的理论融冶于一炉,形成了独特的地理学理论和思想,成为乾嘉道时期地理学的代表人物。阮元组织编纂的《云南通志稿》是精心杰作,具有自己鲜明的风格,备受学者青睐。他对同时代人编纂的历史地理著作和史地学的评价表现出他的独到眼光和认识,体现了他深厚的史地学素养,对当时学风的转换和经世思潮的勃兴有着重要的意义。 Ruan Yuan is an distinguished scholar in geography during the Qianlong and Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty. He formed his unique geographic theory after he had read and mastered the ancient geographic thought： Ruan Yuan organized compilation of Annals of Yunnan and this book has become a masterpiece with its own distinctive style as well as a favourite among scholars. His evaluation of his contemporaries＇ compilations of historical and geographic writings reflects his unique vision and insight, and has great impact upon the scholastic transformation and historical vicissitudes.
