摘　　要： 本文通过对自由主义理论的考察，着重分析了存在于这种理论中的三种主要的价值冲突，即一元与多元的冲突、个人本位与集体本位的冲突以及个人自由与道德的冲突，阐明了“自由主义”思潮对个人自由的追求本身是一个困境，它的合理性有一定的限度。 By reviewing the theories of liberalism, this paper analyzes the three main value conflicts in those theorise, namely the conflict between monism and pluralism, between individualism and collec- tivism, between individual freedom and morality. At the same the, the author tries to explain the predicament for liberalists in their pursuit of individual freedom. Therefore the reasonability of liberalism is limited.
