摘　　要： 植根于不同生产和消费体系之中的生活方式产生个体生命在价值体系、身份特征、认知模式和行为模式等的差异。奥塞罗悲剧成因在于他使用刀剑解决文化认同这一微妙又复杂的矛盾。然而,奥塞罗的悲剧不仅是个人悲剧,而且是植根于生产和消费体系之中的生活方式的悲剧。 The differences of individuals in systems of value, identities, modes of recognition and patterns of behaviour are caused by the styles of life contained in the systems of production and consumption. Othello＇ s tragedy is brought about by his use of swords in solving the subtle and complicated issue of cultural identification. Therefore Othello＇ s tragedy is not only of Othello as an individual, but also of a style of life contained in the system of production and consumption.
