摘　　要： "新中国"是一个历史概念,它是相异于以皇权为核心的封建帝制的共和民主国。宋庆龄是孙中山共和国的坚决捍卫者,是毛泽东人民共和国的奋斗者和开创者之一。她为"新中国"奋斗的内容,一是中国人民团结起来反对帝国主义的侵略,维护领土主权的完整和国家的独立;二是实现社会民主,动员人民团结起来担负重建国家的任务;三是实现民生主义,改善人民的生活,鼓舞人民团结奋进,为建设一个强盛新中国而努力奋斗。宋庆龄为"新中国"奋斗的精神是中国政治文化的宝贵遗产。继承这种遗产,树立国民昂扬向上的坚强意志,养成讲奉献的社会氛围,鼓舞国民立志为国家、民族、人民服务具有重大的现实意义。 ＂New China＂ is a historical concept, which is distinct from the democratic republic under the feudal monarchy centered on the imperial power. A staunch defender of the republic initiated by Sun Yat-sen, Soong Ching-ling is one of the fighters and founders of the people＇ s republic initiated by Mao Zedong. Soong＇ s struggle for ＂New China＂ lies in the following aspects： firstly, the unification of the Chinese people against the imperialist aggression and the maintenance of sovereignty and territorial integrity as well as national independence; secondly, the realization of social democracy and the mobilization of the people to work together in the state reconstruction; and thirdly, the realization of the people＇ s livelihood and the improvement of people＇ s life so as to inspire people to forge ahead in unity and to strive for a powerful new China. As Soong Ching-ling＇ s spirit of ＂struggling for New China＂ is a precious heritage of Chinese political culture, its inheritance is of great practical significance for fostering the high-spirited strong will of citizens, cultivating the social atmosphere of dedication, and for inspiring citi- zens to be committed to serving the state, the nation and the people.
