摘　　要： 陈序经的“全盘西化”论是根据中国过去文化的事实和当时中国的需要而提出来的一种文化主张。其主要目的是反对“闭关自守”和文化的复古倾向。“全盘西化”论对以儒学为本位的封建文化的复古倒退思潮有着沉重的打击。然而 ,“全盘西化”论作为文化的概念 ,是非科学的 ,是一种无从实践的空论。主张用西方文化来代替中国的传统文化 。 The view of “wholesale westernization' based on the fact of culture of the old China, advanced by Chen Xujing was a cultural claim, which aimed at fighting against the tendency of restoring ancient ways——“closed doorism'. It stroke a heavy blow at the doctrine of back to ancients. However, the view of “wholesale westernization' is a non-scientific and meaningless theory in practice. If the western culture replaces the Chinese culture, it is bound to be diametrically opposed to each other. [
