摘　　要： 年轻人用语是年轻人群体内部使用的语言,它不同于标准语,有很多脱离语言规范的词语和表达方式。日本年轻人用语中有很多特征,其中"缩略"现象尤其明显。笔者从分类、缩略规则出发,探讨了其在表达上的特点以及语用功能,进而考察了它所反映的日本年轻人的心理特征。 The young people＇s language is the language used among the young people and is different from the standard language. There are many characteristics in the Japanese young people＇s language, and one of which, namely, the abbreviation of words, is especially striking. This paper makes a brief analysis on the characteristic of the abbreviation of words in the Japanese young people＇ s language. Starting from its classification and rules of abbreviation, this paper also discusses its characteristics of expression and pragmatic function, and as a step forward, it also explores the psychological features of the Japanese young people revealed from their use of abbreviation of words.
