摘　　要： 翻译教学是培养翻译人才的主要途径，也是大学英语教学中的重要组成部分。大学英语的翻译教学应适当讲授翻译理论，改进翻译教学方法，努力提高学生语言能力和实际翻译能力。 Based on the analysis of the translation competence training in the college English teaching, this paper discusses the way to choose translation theory, the improvement of methodology in translation teaching, as well as the enhancement of language competence, aiming to enhance the students＇ language and translation competence.
