摘 要: 当前,学术界视同城竞争大学为有趣现象,对同城竞争大学教师流动的研究,直接关系到科学评判中国学术职业生态状况,并影响高校人事制度改革。目前,学术界缺乏对同城竞争大学之间竞争与合作关系的深层考察。通过引入简历分析法,对清华大学-北京大学、武汉大学-华中科技大学2组同城竞争大学的教师流动规律展开分析发现,大学教师流动规律与高等教育大众化进程密切相关;同城竞争大学的教师流动水平远高于非同城竞争大学;同城竞争大学的教师流动在学科、籍贯、学缘等规律上具有很强的一致性;东部高校和中部高校的同城竞争大学的教师流动规律差异显著。新时期的中国大学教师流动仍在增速,同城竞争大学具备成为专业学术概念的潜力,学术界应加强同城竞争大学及各类大学教师流动规律研究,高校应规范大学教师流动制度、形成差异化的大学教师流动策略,教育行政主管部门应加大破“五唯”力度、避免“五唯”问题延伸到教师流动领域。 “University rivalry”is an interesting but under-explored topic in the field of higher education research.Based on an analysis of resumes of faculty members from two pairs of university rivalries in China(i.e.Tsinghua University vs.Peking University,and Wuhan University vs.Huazhong University of Science and Technology),it is found that:1)higher education massification is an important factor influencing faculty mobility in China;2)teachers from rival universities enjoy far better job mobility than those from other universities;3)similar job mobility patterns can be found among teachers from rival universities,but there is a wide job mobility gap between teachers in eastern China and those in central provinces.As we are expected to see an increase in job mobility for university teachers,it is necessary for researchers to further explore the topic of“university rivalry”.On the other hand,higher education institutions and education administrators also need to adopt prudent,strategic,but also differentiated and flexible policies concerning faculty mobility.
