摘　　要： 知县夫人钱氏在《檀香刑》中是一个具有特殊意义的人物形象。她在作品中处于一种"失语"的状态,并以一双小脚作为其失语状态的外在的具体象征,集中反映在男权至上的社会里女性们所处的无名状态、政治上的弱势和女性立场的缺席。女性即使拥有显赫的家世背景、过人的学问才智,也依然处在社会和历史的边缘地带,并由此逐渐屈从于这种状况,自我奴化,从而衍生了奴性心理,成为真正的"缺席者"和"失语者"。 Mrs. Qian in the novel is a special character, who is in a condition of ＂no words＂, in the same time, she has little feet. Those reflect the women in the society of Men＇s rights on first, whose is in the nameless station and inferior position for politics and absent on female standpoint. The women have eminent extraction background and outstanding knowledge or intelligence, but also in the border land of society and history. Gradually, the women submit this position and have a slavish psychology and become the real ＂no words＂ people.
