摘　　要： 本文阐述了应用型本科教育分类与定位的理论基础,分析了我国高等教育应用型本科教育缺位的原因及后果,提出了我国高等教育分类的新模式,论证了民办院校本科教育定位于教学应用型本科的必要性和正确性。 This article illustrates the types of career-oriented higher education and the theory basis for Career-oriented higher education; it analyses the reasons for the absence of career-oriented education and the effects thereafter; it brings forth a new model of classification for Chinese higher education; it also tries to prove the necessity and correctness for private higher education to focus on career-oriented education.
