摘　　要： FAIFE委员会是IFLA为促进世界知识自由特设的委员会,自1997年成立至今的12年发展历程中,它通过一系列活动关注世界知识自由状态、推动世界知识自由进展。对其发展历程进行简述;详细分析其具体活动:公布的政策文件、调查研究、世界报告、对世界各国违反知识自由所采取的措施;最后评述其活动关注的主题内容及影响。 In order to promote reedom of the world＇s knowledge,the IFLA set up FAIFE Committee.It has been 12 years since it has been establishment in 1997,in the course of development,concerned about the state of intellectual freedom and promoted the progress of freedom and the world＇s knowledge through a series of activitie around the world.Carry out on the course of their development.A detailed analysis of their specific activities：the publication of policy documents,research,World Report,the world measures in violation of intellectual freedom.Final comment concerns the theme of the content of its activities and impact.
