摘　　要： 从语言符号作为跨文化交际的媒介和文化传递的载体入手,着重阐述语言符号在跨文化交际中受文化认知和语用推理原则的影响,从而影响交际的效率。这是因为人们的文化认知受到不同文化的影响,并在理解的过程中产生不同程度的差值所致。此外也分析了跨文化交际中,Grice的合作原则与Sperber和W ilson的关联理论在跨文化交际中的运用和体现。 Language signs are the media of cross - culture communication and carrier of culture transfer. This article focus on the impacts of cultural cognition and pragmatics reasoning rules on language signs and subsequently on communication efficiency. The reason is that man＇s cultural cognition is influenced by different cultures , thus results in diversities in understanding. The article also analyzed the application and embodiment of Grice＇s cooperation rules and Sperber and Wilson＇s association theory in cross -culture communication.
